Scope
Modern universities require flexible, inclusive spaces that support diverse student needs including administrative services, spiritual practice, and community building within existing building constraints.
Through staged construction, we maintained all operational functions while consulting extensively with staff and Muslim students to ensure culturally appropriate design solutions. The multifaith space balances shared community areas with specific religious requirements, while administrative improvements enhance student service delivery.
Refurbishment provides new student services counter, administrative support offices, and multifaith prayer space including chaplain offices, activity room, and dedicated Muslim prayer room within existing building infrastructure. Careful planning ensured seamless integration of diverse functional requirements while respecting the spiritual and practical needs of the university's diverse community.
