Scope
Heritage-listed buildings require sensitive adaptation to modern healthcare standards while preserving historical character and maintaining operational continuity during complex refurbishment processes.
We carefully repurposed the heritage hotel's public bar into a welcoming psychology clinic while transforming the dining room into functional clinical offices. Original office spaces became group therapy rooms, maintaining the building's heritage character through interpretive signage and historically-informed window graphics. Disabled access and fire compliance were achieved without compromising heritage values.
Comprehensive refurbishment creates psychology clinic with six consulting rooms, clinical staff offices, group therapy rooms, two TMS consulting rooms, plus heritage interpretive signage and accessibility upgrades. Staged construction ensured minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations throughout the sensitive refurbishment process.
