Scope
The community needed a comprehensive health precinct that could function as interconnected yet independent services, breaking away from traditional standalone hospital models to improve user experience and privacy.
We separated key services into distinct zones enabling independent function while maintaining essential operational connections. A multi-storey consulting tower serves as a wayfinding landmark, complemented by distinctive massings and façade treatments for easy service identification. Rigorous space planning prioritized back-of-house efficiency and smooth inter-zone flows.
This 4-storey, 200-bed hospital expansion with 7-storey consultation building delivers day surgery, oncology, mental health services, rehabilitation, urgent care, medical imaging, and retail facilities within a cohesive health precinct. Carefully considered public access points ensure clear, intuitive circulation throughout the development.
