Growing healthcare demands required expanded capacity while maintaining uninterrupted patient care during a complete facility transformation - a complex challenge, requiring innovative staging strategies.
Through meticulous staged construction planning, we ensured continuous hospital operations throughout demolition and reconstruction. Our team developed sophisticated wayfinding and circulation systems for both vehicular and pedestrian flows, while iterative design studies optimized patient services and back-of-house operations.
This comprehensive 5-storey, 150-bed hospital expansion delivers integrated mental health services, rehabilitation facilities, outpatient hydrotherapy, medical imaging, and enhanced staff amenities, replacing outdated infrastructure with state-of-the-art healthcare facilities that enhance capacity without compromising existing patient care standards.
